CO-OP Live 0101 -- Mass Effect 2, Jonathan Mann, and YOU

Well, at least WE think it was a success. What do you think? What could have been improved? What actually worked really well? Any suggestions for new stuff we can try out? As for all of you that were worried there would be no “recorded” or archived version of the show, here it is! From what I hear, the flash-embedded version was up only an hour or so after the live broadcast finished. The download links went up only a few hours later, so from now on I’ll be doing these blog posts Tuesday evening when everything is up and live and available to download. More after the show:

Yes, there’s a lot of Mass Effect 2 in this show. We’ve wanted to spill our guts on this game for weeks and we figured for our first live show it would be best to focus on a single title and make that critique as high quality as possible rather than take on too much and have a weak premiere. Ryan, JayFresh, and myself put the game through its paces and find ourselves in eager anticipation of the end of the trilogy.

Our new format opens up all kinds of possibilities, not the least of which is the ability to have musical guests! We were able to bring in Jonathan Mann, famous video game musician, co-creator of the original CO-OP theme and unbelievably prolific musician thanks to his Song-A-Day project. Thanks for coming by and being such an integral part of the premiere, Mr. Mann!

And, of course, this is the first time we’ve been able to respond directly to you, the fans! We’re pretty candid as to why the change to live, how the new format comes together and, of course, what the hell happened to Rob??

Congratulations on the first show! it worked really well and i think is a way better format.
In the show you asked for improvments so this isnt just me moaning. Just before i say them i do have to add they are minor complaints. but it feels weird for you to pretend the cameras arent their and then suddenly switch and do forums. embrace it as a show, be more like a host with talking to camera or just something to really get across the live aspect.
At the end you got the slight feel of a team atmosphere which was really nice and if that came across more i think it would make the show even better than it already is.

awesome guys, i watched the first 10 minutes live last night and then had class but just finished watching the rest now. i love how the game footage is still a part of the show, i was worried that it might be gone with the live format and i'd just be watching a live recording of a normal audio podcast (not that that would be super-awful with all the great opinions about games you guys always have but i still would have missed seeing what you were talking about). the new studio is really cool, i love all the game memorabilia around-- you should do a segment where you explain where some of it came from and why you chose particular things!

one quick constructive critique-> i got a little dizzy during the community session when you were answering questions for some reason, i dont know why really because i love the fast cuts and close-ups in the "review" segments, but for some reason it didn't quite work in the q/a session. maybe try some fixed camera work similar to late night talk shows for that segment or at least a little less movement.

ps. jehuty!

You guys are GODs in the game journalism industry. What you guys put together is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. Been following you since the beginning on 1up.com. It's FRESH, FUNNY, and most of all NEW! Definately a different twist on what the norm (Gamespot, IGN, Gametrailers.com) is coming up with. I like it. Want more of it. I even had a little tear shed when I heard the live performance of the C0-OP theme. Always wanted to know what were the rest of the lyrics. Awesome show guys. Looking forward to future posts. You have a true fan here. I'm out!

hey guys, just wanna share my pilot episode of the TRG show, based mainly in coop show old format, hope you like it, it is in spanish, we live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, we talked with Danny Adler (Sgx) and he agree to share their fantastic tunes to our show, comments in the thread allowed!

we love your work over here too!

The show feels basically the same, and that's quite an accomplishment.

The MAIN difference is the change of sets/scenarios. That will be weird for us as viewers to adjust.

So far, the MAIN problem (if it's a problem at all) are the ads. Can't you guys just queue previously recorded ads into the live? If yes, that would be a smart move.

And I like the idea of playing/"demo-ing" games live, but don't stick only to indie/obscure titles. And it's not dull, I actually like 1UP's Game Night, of course some nights it's boring, but what makes it boring are the people, if you have engaging personalities (or cool developers themselves) doing it, you'll be fine.

Don't pay much attention about the lack of comedy and the "too much talk about games", it's a videocast about videogames! Not a sketch show, although your humor is appreciated, that's what you got to focus on.

Nice work guys!

February 10, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterPedro dos Santos

really liked the new format of the show. i'm very glad you kept it similar in a way of the the old coop format with no drastic changes.
i hope in the future i'll be able to watch you guys on your own tv show on g4tech tv!
all the best and keep up the fantastic work!

Great start Area5! I sincerely look forward to future productions of CO-OP!
If there's one thing I want though, it's more edgy and loud background music :P

Great kickoff show. I agree that watching people gaming is boring... only a few games are fun to watch. Really... the only successful way to pull it off is to have some form of tension... either competitive or even a ridiculously hard section that someone gets 1 chance at (1 run down a ridiculously scary and hard part of AVP for example) ... and a commentator and a commentator's vision screen. ( Last month's OSL finals are a great example of how it's done well on a competitive level: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNILLRdACdg )

I think your guy's strength has always been that you really give a more creative "insider" look at things, as well as touching on the Bay Area art-rock-geek-culture. When you just spend too long generally chatting about a game, I kind of feel like you're at your weakest. I'd like to see any of your game developer friends on more... get outside devs thoughts on the games.. what they focus on... how they look at single elements and break them down. Even bringing on programmers, sound designers, etc, from local indie teams for their thoughts on the games, their games and other games, etc.

I also think J Fresh should always wear sunglasses and be sipping a margherita... and I think one of you should TOUCH THE GOD DAMN FALLOUT LUNCH BOX next time. ???????

good job! i thoroughly enjoyed that. a few suggestions:

-better lightning. put up a big ass lamp and lets get some whites and yellows in there. it was very, very dark.

-The studio:
-the set sort of looks the walls of a cheesy gaming restaurant with all the game shwag. some suggestions:
-the colors are too dark on the walls, it makes things seem closed in and dark+depressing
-I think it would be cool just to have exposed set in the background with couches and a TV along with some lights + some cool art/posters on the wall that can be switched up (get some A Life Well Wasted Prints from Mr. Ashley).
-the wall-o-games is not fun to look at not very pretty
-More couch room so you can chillax more naturally, you look too crowded and bunched together. be able to put your feet up!

-the TV gets in the way of the camera too much

but srsly, keep up the good work

Haven't started ME2 yet, so I had to skim through the episode. From what I saw it looked great.

Was the previous co-op song ever made available on mp3? wouldn't mind a good quality copy of it.

February 10, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterBoothe

I'll admit it. When you first hinted at the changes coming to the show I thought that it was going to be a run of the mill, low production value, stream of consciousness podcast (like every other gaming podcast/vidcast.)

Instead, you guys put more production value into a live show than most people put into weeks of editing. I was floored. The live music just put the whole thing over the top. Interspersing the footage with commentary worked surprisingly well.

Bravo, sirs. Bravo!

February 10, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterAustin

Missed the live show, just finished watched it a few minutes ago! I have to say amazingly well done!! I love the new format. I can not wait to see all the future episodes! Loved the multiple camera angles and can not wait tell you guys bring in the split screens. So damn cool, thank you guys again for the hard work and my personal favorite "show" every week! (forget that "Lost" garbage)

February 10, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterDJ

Hey guys I just wanted to let you know that the 1st Episode of Co-Op Live was great! I have been with you guys since 1up and The 1up Show and going Live back then would have been an awesome option! That's even if it would have been every so often but I support your new live format 100% as it gets both you and us fans/gamers involved together better!

I really liked hearing your thoughts and opinions on Mass Effect 2 as I recently got done playing it and plan to play it again as a different class. Thanks for giving me an in depth look into other classes because I think i'm going with an Adapt or Sentinel this time! My lady Shepard was an evil soldier class and my experience playing through to game was very different from all of yours as well. I honestly thought the endgame boss was balls and for all the build up they gave me a letdown. Other than that I really love the game and it's my new favorite title!

The live performance segments with Jonathan Mann was a huge surprise and another nice addition that changes things up! It was awesome to hear from him and see what he's been up to!

I was bummed to hear that Rob left and yes he will be missed! I just hope he can come back on and fill us in on what his new life has been like!

As for any advice I have for the show well you guys pretty much covered any ideas I had during the show so that's good. I will say that there needs to be eye contact to the cameras during the User question segment. Just didn't feel as though you were talking to us you know?

Great job guys and i'm looking forward to future episodes!

Where did you get the awesome painting?

February 10, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterjason

Hey guys.

Kudos on the new show format. I enjoyed it alot. Especially the in-depth "review" of Mass Effect 2, and the Q&A bits. Just a heads up - when you take over your ME1 savegame into ME2, there's alot more "information" carried over. Alot of the small side-missions (Such as the grieving husband in the presidium) are also carried over, even though the game doesn't specifically mention it. :)

February 10, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterAndy

First off bring back Rob! In all honesty I didn't really like the live show too much at first, because it felt like regular co-op, but without some of the production value that made co-op great. But when Ryan talked about how this was just to get people used to the live format before you guys did anything weird I got really excited. Make sure to take advantage of the live format. Either way you guys are still the best show, and I'm excited to see what you guys have next week.

February 10, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterSanchez

This is pretty damn exciting. Sure, there were some kinks, and a few moments felt awkward, but for the premiere of a live show, it was awesome. I've worked on plenty of live shows and know the stress and hard work that come with the territory. I wish I had more time to comment, but I'm coming off a 14-hour day, so I'd better sleep.

I look forward to giving some useful feedback and am truly excited about how you will use the live format in the future. Thanks guys!

They're doing it live!

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJonathan Hunt

Hi guys, thank you all for making this great show! I've been following you since 1up and have been appreciating your knowledge and enthusiasm about gaming ever since! I think doing the show live is a good way to reduce your time investment while still providing a great viewing experience. I think all of the people watching this really appreciate the time and effort you put into it!

The only thing I worry about are the live chat elements. While it definitely sounds nice in concept, it might run the risk of becoming somewhat superficial and stupid. I'm not saying that Jay isn't cute (obviously ;-) ), I'm just saying that the discussion on such topics is detrimental to the overall quality. My suggestion would be to focus the chat on specific topics, for example "What do you guys think about the combat system in ME2?" or "Which class do you like best in ME2?".

Anyways, it was a great episode and I enjoyed it very much! :)

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterRyan

I'll admit I was skeptical of a live take on Co-op when it was announced, but I think you guys did a great job, and I look forward to what you do with this new format. I didn't feel like anything was missing.

I agree with the first commenter Ryan Davies in that this format is now just a very small step away from the 'hosted live show', and that you should embrace that. Maybe each episode, for things like the live performance and community segments, one of you guys can act as the host, talk to the camera to introduce the segments. This doesn't need to be at the expense of the style of the show - I actually really enjoyed the background music and creative shots used during the discussions, as it helped maintain that Co-op voice.

Gameplay footage and discussion was integrated very well. As much as I'm loving Mass Effect 2 right now, I thought the discussion ran a little long for a video show, though the quality of discussion was good. It was the sort of conversation I love to hear in a podcast (which I can listen to while doing something else), but for a video show where you demand 100% of the viewer's attention, an all-encompassing discussion such as this can start feeling a bit dry. To be fair, that's not necessarily different from my feeling on the old edited Co-op when there are 15 min discussions on an iPhone game that might take 2 min to figure out for yourself, so take that criticism with a grain of salt.

Great show though, and I look forward to watching this new show every week! You've sustained the same voice in a new format, which is commendable.

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterShuborno

I really love the new format, but sadly I didn't get to watch the live feed (I have a horrible connection). Everything felt new and fresh, but at the same time familiar. Though I'm worried about how many game reviews you'll be able to fit in an episode. I noticed you guys kinda dragged on about Mass Effect 2, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, seeing you guys talk about a game without cut is something I've wanted to see. But a 1 hour long episode = 1 game review isn't too appealing. So I hope you guys manage to fit in more reviews in future episodes.

Regarding playing games live, I think the best way to do that is to have one person play and another two talk while sometimes cutting to live gameplay. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys have in store for us for the show.

Since you guys opened the floor to ideas, I had a thought that made me laugh a little inside. To go along with the co-op spirit, you should add in some competitive flair among yourselves. For certain games you cover, have a competition between 2 area5 members during the show. This could be a round of a multiplayer match or a game that you make up. Whoever loses has to wear a dunce cap for the rest of the episode, eat a nasty food, get pied in the face, etc.

Anyways, just an idea that might throw in some excitement to episodes and give the viewers a chance to see you get embarassed live :P

Ok I'll shutup now.

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJonathan Hunt

Finally got to watch this first live episode. I thought you guys did a really great job. It flowed well and was really entertaining. Keep it up! Can't wait to see more.

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterShafnitz

Love the idea of a live show but can't help feeling dissappointed with the first episode.

Firstly the chat about Mass Effect went on for far too long. Someone who is interested in the game would probably enjoy it but as I'm not it just dragged on. Also all three presenters look very uncomfortable and self concious on screen, Jay reduced to a nodding dog in the middle. You either need to significantly develop your presenting skills or get some real personality into the show. It also looks extremely odd, especially when directly addressing the audience, that you don't look into the camera - it feels dismissive.

The music section was just bizarre.

I'm all for the live show but it need to be much slicker. You should be cutting out to pre-recorded interviews, chats with industry folk etc.

Can't wait for future shows! Good luck!

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered Commentermr.Tunisia

Hi guys, major congratulations for the first episode of Co-op Live. I was really curious about the way you guys were going to pull that out and it surpassed all my expectations.

I can't follow the program live because I live in Belgium and the time difference doesn't help, but it still feels fresh with the video. I have been watching you guys since the time of 1UP Show and I am really enjoying the turn you decide to give to Co-op.

It was cool to see Jonathan playing the previous theme (I so had to sing along!) and it will be great to see the new ideas you have in mind.

It is never easy to start something new, mainly when you are already having success "as is". I imagine that it wasn't an easy decision to have things set accordingly to satisfy the majority, but you did great.

Thanks for leaving the material available online and keep up with the awesome work!

I'm already looking forward to watching the next episode. \(^_^*)/

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterDebbie Rodrigues

@Ryan Davies ... Definitely thanks for the feedback! Yeah, it's actually just hard for us to talk straight at the camera because we don't really know which one is on and because, well, it's just not something we've done before! Still, I think that's good feedback and we do need to embrace the idea that we're talking directly at the audience during the fan segments.

@john shab ... Huh, it might just be because there aren't enough cuts between game footage and people chatting. Of course it might just be because you had to stare at JayFresh's ugly face for like 10 minutes and no one can really do that without getting nauseous.

@Eddie E. Givens, Jr. ... First of all, your name is freakin' rad! Second of all, you are FAR too kind! We'll do our very best to try to live up to such high praise, but man, that's a pretty high pedestal to fall down from :)

I'll get to the other replies as soon as I can! Sorry for the lack of response thus far. Been a lot of logistics to handle around here. <3 you all!

February 11, 2010 | Registered Commentermatt chandronait

@ummo ... hey man! Took a few minutes to watch some of your show, it's super flattering that you would take inspiration from our style! We've always said that we'd love it if people could do what we do, but do it in their own way. Great job! I have some suggestions on how you could improve your show, if you're interested, but I'll save it for an email. Thanks for sharing the link and stick with it! It will only get better the more you do it :)

@Pedro dos Santos ... Yeah man, we've been thinking much the same thing. The live reads are the easiest to do, but having a few canned ads in there can actually give us a bit of a break on the set to reposition cameras, move people around, that kind of thing. The pre-edited ads won't be going away, but we stuck to the live reads for this first show since they're the easiest to implement. Great feedback, thanks!

@Tom L. ... Mmmmmm, Crow. I hope we don't give you heartburn.

@Dean ... Totally agree on getting more devs in, but you'd be surprised (or maybe not) just how hard it is to get access to anyone except those that are specifically media trained. PR people have good reason to protect their assets and game companies are very leery about letting the untested and untrained out of their cages for any length of time out of fear that their media plan will be violated by an off-hand comment. I think where we can get around this would be to have more post-mortem type discussions. But yeah, we would love and very much want to hear more from the people "in the trenches." I think if we can crack that nut with just a few guests and show the industry that we'll treat them with respect then we'll find more companies willing to let people other than their front-runners come on.

@hi ... thanks for all the suggestions! Some of which I can address right away. Re: the dark colors on the walls: this was actually intentional. Bright colors in the background actually obscure the people in the foreground. and we wanted to make the foreground pop as much as possible. Our plan is to be modifying the set as often as possible, however, so please don't feel your suggestions are falling on deaf ears/blind eyes! As for the size of the couch, that's a factor of the size of the set we're working with. We're actually very limited by space in the studio. I'd love to build it out with another 20 square feet or so, but there just isn't the space. Maybe if we become all super-successful and make tons of dough for Revision3 we can swap spaces with Tekzilla ;)

@torrent ... Cesar and his friend Paul painted it! They were actually up all night the night before the broadcast making that happen. Bravo to them!

@Boothe ... yup! Click over on the little musical note in the navigation on the right-hand side of this page. There's the old CO-OP song :)

@Austin & @jason .... I'm glad it came across so well! That was our goal and I'm happy it succeeded.

@RobertH ... Yup, that's all we can ask for. We're not a crack trauma team or anything like that, but to offer a little entertainment value to people that love games like we do is certainly something we can handle ;)

February 11, 2010 | Registered Commentermatt chandronait

Woops! Sorry about that all, fixed the HD links. The one that said 30fps was linking to the promo from the week before and HD (normal) link was linking to the 30fps link. BLAH. Sorry about that :/ I checked if all the links we're working, but I didn't check 'em close enough.

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterBenji

Good freaking job! It seemed like a massive undertaking to bring the feeling of the edited show to a live format, and you guys really did it. Very impressed.

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterRussell Ihrig

I was skeptical when you announced your new format but you guys nailed it. In every new project you guys seem to shrug off the shackles of the previous one.

In this spirit I hope you will keep the structure as informal and freeform as today's show. I have bittersweet memories of X-Play because each episode takes 10 minutes of very smart commentary and drags it out for 30. The duration of each 1UP Show and Co-op episode is a snowflake and is as long as it needs to be.

I hope you throw in a bunch of little asides like saying the first game that comes to mind when you hear the word "archery", or each of you giving a one sentence review of Doom 3, or playing one chapter of Indigo Prophecy each show and tabulating votes on whether you should investigate the bathroom murder scene or take a whiz in front of your partner like a jackass. Like, you know, whatever.

I cancelled my TV cable 2 years ago thanks to your show and others. Please keep doing what you're doing, and doing it your way.

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterBrian

Great first round of live episodes. I love that Co-op is twice as long as some of the older episodes now and the music segment was awesome. Excellent job on keeping the Mass Effect 2 segment interesting considering how long it was. Can't wait to see what's next.

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJustin

I love the show (new and old versions) - congrats and keep up the great work! The informal nature of CO-OP has always made me feel like I've been part of the conversation. With your new live format including the interactive fan portions it now looks like we really can be part of the conversation. You guys are doing a great thing here!

On the constructive side, I think the one small couch thing is a little limiting. I'd prefer you make it more like a real living room where you can face each other more easily.

I'm looking forward to all of your new shows!

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterLiam

Damn Matt - you gotta get yourself a comment reader secretary! I'm impressed you went through all those and responded.

It's a shame there aren't more "freelance" game developers out there... would probably make it easier to nab them. I guess in the end you don't even need so much developers themselves... just very creative guests (outside of the very creative core staff) that bring the conversation beyond just the video gameyness of it, and shows can organically form into their own focus based on some of that. I see you guys as more of a creative tour-de-force than anything else... with gaming as the core that brought it all together, but in no way what defines the overall. In my opinion, if you keep that in mind for each episode, you are achieving full potential!

Tuesday nights are CO-OP night. Wednesday mornings are full of tears and regret.

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterDean

Excellent first live show guys. I doubt I'll ever manage to watch it live because of my work schedule, but I'll keep on following the iTunes feed every week. I'm a big fan of the more podcast style free-form chatting about games, and the answering of listener questions. It's one of the things that drew me to the old 1UP podcasts, and I'm excited to see that style blended with your already fantastic video show.

On a side note, I'm glad you guys managed to make the changes you needed to keep your sanity while making the show. All the enthusiasm in the world can be worn down after consistent 6 or 7 day work weeks. Sometimes you just hit a breaking point, and I'm glad you found a way to evolve the show rather than have things fall apart.

February 11, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterWill B

Congratulations on your first live show!

I must say I was very relieved to see the format was pretty much unchanged from the pre-recorded stuff. What I really loved about the CO-OP show was its slick, well presented and mature attitude towards gaming. It was a really refreshing experience and was something even my non-gaming* girlfriend could enjoy. I was slighlty concerned that a live show would change all that and would become more like the cheesey video gaming shows of old. Alas, that is not the case.

As for improvements, as someone else mentioned during the show, I would really like to see stuff shot "on location" return eventually if it is possible. It keeps the show from feeling too static and not to mention being genuinely interesting to people living outside the US. I am still not 100% sure how being live benefits the show just yet but I am sure it will blossom in time.

Keep up the good work.

Hi CO-OP crew,

I never have time to comment on podcasts or phone in because I'm either too busy working, playing games or listening to podcasts but now I feel I must say something. It occured to me while watching the latest CO-OP episode that, of the massive amounts of videogame podcasts I listen to (about 15 or so!) weekly, I was all Mass Effected out by repetitive coverage, interviews and exciting yet similar proclamations that the game is a must own, sometimes with irritating spoilers which I understand must be there because there needs to be something to talk about in the podcast that is not just a vague reference. I will own Mass Effect 2 and loved it's predecessor. After listening to the said 15 or so podcasts this week, I watched this CO-OP episode and this was a completely fresh perpective to discuss the game while showing video of it. The non-trailer-like yet visceral action showed the game in all it's beauty and smacked total proof that this game is awesome even in the non epic trailer-like moments. Not only was your take deliciously spoiler-free and insightful but no other podcast made me feel more convinced and this game looks totally awesome. You guys have the perfect formula (live or edited: both are awesome) and I hope you start making the loads of money you deserve. Please never give up! I just imagine the work that goes into your productions and feel very thankful! Keep up the incredible work and congratulations for carving a niche for yourselves after the 1UP layoffs. You inspire me!

Hi guys! First off, I'd like to say how much you guys and your show makes my day each and every week. The analysis and insight you guys provide on games is unparalleled. I LOVE LOVE LOVE CO-OP and I LOVED the 1up Show when it was around.

Now to my main point. I watched the first live show and I have to respectfully say that I didn't like it, at all. It's nothing to do with you guys because as I've already mentioned, you guys are awesome. Here's what I didn't like:

1. You guys only talked about one game: Mass Effect 2. It was an awesome discussion but I need more than one game per week.
2. I want to hear you discuss GAMES. I don't really want a "community" segment or a musical guest. I watch you guys because you're the smartest game reviewers around.
3. The main reason I got into the 1up Show from the beginning was because of the extremely high quality of the video. It looked like film! This new format looks like bad digital video.
4. I loved the thematically toned, acted out episodes of CO-OP before the move to this new format. I know you guys said you might still include some of that in "snack" form but I loved the old format so much more.

Again, these comments are meant in the most respectable and honest manner. I truly love the show and have become a huge fan of each and every one of you. I want to see you guys succeed and if this new format allows for that, then so be it, but I just needed to put my thoughts out there. Even though this new format isn't something I like, I really hope this is coming from your own creative minds and not something cooked up and given to you by Revision 3.

Thanks for everything you do and I hope to hear some feedback on this. I'll keep watching!!

Not bad not bad...Don't think I enjoyed it as much as the recorded shows...must be because you work 7 days a week on those. Thankfully the meat of the show (your opinions on games) wasn't damaged..but I agree with the complaints that others here have made:

1. Lighting and studio design is really bad. Looks like a sales floor from some cheesy warehouse. Get some colored bulbs in there and fix that green and brown wall ffs. You're web design skills are so good, get that same thing going for the set.

2. Bring the guys behind the cameras in on the action. We all know they are there, and we like ALL your personalities-so why not let them shout out opinions and orders as they see fit? Could even get rid of the ear pieces at that point. Might lead to more interesting LIVE content. What's the point of going live if you're not welcoming the unknown?

3. Don't do LIVE voice overs of the commercials, as I'm sure you know errors can and will happen, and it's just unneeded.

4. Don't be so self absorbed on screen...It's hard I know, you're all so excited, and that's great, but it gets old real fast.

Don't take these suggestions the wrong way, I look forward to every show you put out and will continue to do so. Keep up the great work.
