Microsoft's Press Conference Streamed Live!

Microsoft has graciously allowed us to stream the press announcement right here on our little corner of the web. Yes, we know you can watch it elsewhere, but we figured it would be a great way to share our experiences with yours. Get some comments going and maybe we can kinda turn this into an interactive thingamajig between us and you!

Its great to see it will be in HD, just hope the servers are able to keep up. Kind of out there but I hope to see Republic Commando 2.

there isn't a live chat anywhere?

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJJBro1

Microsoft better not make the entire conference about natal or kinetic or whatever the hell waving your arms like an idiot is called. I came to see the AAA titles but stay for the Indie games.

dirtytea in the house bitches!!!

my #1 wish from this press conf. is to hear from Irrational. I hope they show something!

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered Commentertylertea

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMats effect

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterChris

Woo! Irrational!

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

Is anybody else as uninterested in Black Ops as I am?

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

I don't really care about MW 2.2 either. Metal Gear Rising on the other hand...

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTrucker Sean

Wait, did he just say that the only big hits are on 360?

June 14, 2010 | Registered Commentermatt chandronait

@Tucker ... Yeah but all we've seen so far is a cinematic. *crosses fingers for gameplay*

June 14, 2010 | Registered Commentermatt chandronait

As long as I get to cut heads the way I get to cut watermelons I'm in.

June 14, 2010 | Registered Commentermatt chandronait

Am I looking at bigfoot wrestling a unicorn?

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTrucker Sean

Gears of War!!!! Jason just had an accident in his pants

June 14, 2010 | Registered Commentermatt chandronait

Rising looks interesting.

*sigh* Looks like I'll have to try and write my next book club post while watching this press conference.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

Way to be obtuse.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

I saw swords and axes and I'm gonna go ahead and assume 3 player co-op. I'm not sure what the heck that was, but I'll take it.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTrucker Sean

Damn it! Problems with my PC and iPod.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

If Halo Reach has Colony Wars-ish spaceship battles, I'm sold.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTrucker Sean

Too bad I don't use Zune anymore.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

Yes! Strawberry and raspberry waffles while watching E3. Props for still living with parents!

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

I guess this is a big deal to sports fans :)

June 14, 2010 | Registered Commentermatt chandronait

Ryan thinks they're going to announce Hulu, too

June 14, 2010 | Registered Commentermatt chandronait

@Melissa ... Yeah, you kind of win :)

June 14, 2010 | Registered Commentermatt chandronait

@Matt Yes I do. :)

Can't they send their presenters to some public speaking courses before making them do this?

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

As a fan of sports, I love it!

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTrucker Sean

I'd think all of these guys are media rained, but the problem is they have to follow a script so there's no way for them no to sound stilted.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered Commentermatt chandronait

Oh my god! Cuteness overload. Can I keep them? Please?

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

KinKats!! ;p

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered Commentermatt chandronait

Whoa, what happened. I dozed off right after the Milo tiger thing.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTrucker Sean

I'm starting to feel really guilty about all the whip cream I put on my waffles.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

So, I kinda want this dancing game. In fact, I think it's the only Kinecf thing I've seen so far that I'd definitely get--unless the Star Wars thing is awesome

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered Commentermatt chandronait

@Matt I want it too. *hangs head*

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

LOL My little sister is gonna be all over this!

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

I dont want the dance game so much as I want to sit around and watch other people play it and laugh.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterSeanalyn

Must. Buy. New. 360.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTrucker Sean

XBox 360s to everyone in the audience. Microsoft is Opera.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMax

That was disappointing.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

Dammit I just bought an 120 GB Elite 360 AND a wireless adaptor 4 months ago. It's sooooo loud!

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterDana Laratta

LOL Oprah. Opera is a browser.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterDana Laratta

Wow, crazy! Too bad we had to set up for a different job and couldn't be in that audience. We were watching it online just like y'all. Still, I was hoping for some more Kinect surprises to get me super into it. Of course CoD and GoW and Reach all got me frothing at the bit, but I knew that was gonna happen anyway ;)

thanks for watching with us!!

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered Commentermatt chandronait

Meh, Its just words. WORDS WORDS WORDS! I really wish I were at E3 right now though.

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMax

Hahaha! I'd pobablu watch an Opera talk show ;)

June 14, 2010 | Unregistered Commentermatt chandronait

Wow! Um, Nintendo blew my mind over and over again. Other than the Zelda screw up, I really really enjoyed their press conference. Sorry, I can't say the same for the rest of them.

June 15, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterElric

Sony and Nintendo had their best years in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. Microsoft had their worst ever.

June 15, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterSam

Wonder why you streamed only MS conference, are you guys payed to do that or just because you are MS fanboys?

June 17, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterhgh

I'm in a siimlar situation to Tychon above. I've been watching your vids since I discovered the 1UP show a few years back. I'm a working dad and don't get much (read: ANY) time to just sit down and watch stuff at home but have a good couple of hours commute time during which I used to watch co-op, amongst other things. Hell, I've cut my sleep down to 6 hrs a night just so I can get some game-time in.

I'd really like to watch the Area5 video content for EGMi and have no problem paying for it, the magazine would be more of an afterthought for me; it's the Area5 content I really want to see. As I understand it, I can't get the EGMi video content onto my iPod in any form at the moment. It's really frustrating as I love your work and am more than happy to stump up the cash for the privilege of watching it...it's just the medium that is defeating me at the moment. Are there any plans to make the EGMi content available in a more portable format? I really just want to be able to either purchase it from iTunes or convert and sync an AVI/MKV/MP4 etc. Help me Obi-Chandronait...you're my only hope.

June 30, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterRalph

Are you guys done with Area5.tv ? Been waiting for new content. Miss you guys.

July 14, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTravis Thompson

What happened to updating the site?
hello, is anyone there?
Brick misses you!
